Mark Samar
Mr. Samar is a founding partner of The Indemnity Group, LLC and Samar Financial Group, Inc. He has a broad and diversified background in the design and implementation of employee benefit programs over the last 19 years.

His experience includes the following:

• Providing benefits consultation and brokerage services to the lodging industry over the past 10 years.
  
• Analysis and feasibility studies to initiate benefit programs.
  
• Development of specialized insurance products unique to the insurance industry.
  
• Negotiations for the acquisition and merger of competing agencies.
  
• Direct negotiating capabilities with carriers, i.e. underwriting, plan design and rate guarantees.
  
• Supervises in-house administration team.
  
• Executive compensation arrangements.
  
• Analysis of compliance issues.
  
• Special producer class with most insurance companies.

Mr. Samar earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Ohio State University in 1986. He holds insurance licenses in Life, Accident & Health in several states, as well as a Series 7 license as a registered representative for securities products. He is a member of various insurance associations and is an active participant in community and charitable organizations.

Mr. Samar has been a resident of Greater Cleveland his entire life. He is married with two children. His interests include stock analysis, golf, skiing and coaching his children's sports teams. ~ Contact Mark via email
